With a successful career in the Oil & Gas Industry and in Banking, David has significant global energy research and transactional experience.

David’s first career was in big oil, working for Texaco in London, Caltex in Vietnam and Singapore followed by Chevron in Australia, obtaining 

comprehensive experience in the up, down and mid-stream parts of the industry.  While with Chevron he led the successful marketing of Australian LNG projects into North Asia.

For the past 14 years David has held senior positions in top tier financial organisations, publishing research on listed oil & gas companies and, producing global macro oil & LNG research. He worked with CLSA in Japan & Hong Kong, with Credit Suisse in Singapore & Canada as Global Head of Oil & Gas Equities Research and, with Macquarie in London as European Head of Oil & Gas Research.
